Busch Gardens located in Tampa Bay is rated one of the top 4 zoo/theme parks in the USA, located in 335 acres of land. Part theme park, part safari adventure it features thrilling world class rides and close animal encounters.  

Discovery Cove offers you the opportunity of swimming with dolphins, paddling with rays and snorkelling through a coral reef in a beautifully landscaped tropical island park with white sandy beaches.  

Disney World is world famous and consists of 8 themed areas covering 47 sq miles including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex and the Downtown Disney area.  


Gatorland is a 110-acre alligator theme park and a wildlife preserve situated just minutes away from Disney World and Orlando attractions. There is an incredible display of huge alligators and crocodiles plus a breeding marsh with boardwalk and observation tower. There are also reptilian shows, a petting zoo, aviary and a swamp walk. 

SeaWorld lies across the highway from Discovery Cove. Situated in over 200 acres, this park is one of the most popular, featuring Shamu Stadium, Wild Artic, Shark Encounter and many other attractions.  

Aquatica by SeaWorld enables guests to experience thrilling water slides, relaxing rivers, wonderous wave pools and unique animal encounters.

Silver Springs is a 350-acre nature theme park that surrounds the headwaters of the beautiful Silver River, the largest artesian spring formation in the world. Located north of Orlando, just east of Ocala, Florida, it features glass bottomed boats from where you can see the largest natural springs in the world. There are several other trips; Lost River Voyage, Jungle Cruise and a Jeep Safari where you can see alligators, turtles, raccoons and other wildlife. 

Universal Studios is a park for older children (although small children are catered for) set in 110 acres in 7 themed areas. As well as the various rides there is also interactive street entertainment which takes place all around the park.  

Wet 'n Wild is suited to the more adventurous water slide enthusiast. It was the first water park built in 1977 and is still one of the best attended water parks in the USA; it can be busy especially at the weekends. There are over 30 action-packed acres of slides and flumes, surf and sun.  

GOLF  (local golf courses)

Celebration Golf Club was created by the renowned father-son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. The course boasts rolling terrain that weaves through a series of pristine lakes and periodic clusters of native oak, pine and magnolia. Celebration Golf Club has been host to prestigious events such as the 2002 U.S. Senior Open Qualifier, 2003 Florida State Public Links Championship, 2004 & 2005 Buick Scramble National Championships, and the 2004 - 2006 Robert Gamez Celebration Invitational. 

ChampionsGate Golf Club features two premier 18-hole championship golf courses designed by accomplished architect and golfer, Greg Norman and is widely regarded as one of the top courses nationwide. This premier golf club features an impressive clubhouse and restaurant. 

Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is one of the best public golf courses in Orlando and has been ranked Number 7 in the state of Florida by GolfWeek. Of all the great golf courses in the Central Florida area, Steve Smyer's creation at Southern Dunes may be the most unique. This dramatic hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100 ft. of elevation changes not typically found in Central Florida. Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is situated 2 minutes from Calabay Parc at Tower Lake. 


Along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, you’ll find miles of white sandy beaches that are lapped by warm turquoise waters. One of the Atlantic Coast’s best kept secrets is New Smyrna Beach which is within easy reach of all the attractions of Orlando. At the southern end of the resort is Canaveral National Seashore Park, home to many species of Florida wildlife while a little further down the coast are Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Centre. 

The Gulf Coast offers Florida beach life at its most idyllic. Lovers of dolphin spotting should head for Clearwater or St Petersburg. Tampa Bay is a vibrant area offering you a fix of American sports as well as Busch Gardens. De Soto Beach was voted America's Number 1 beach in 2005.
